We are proud to announce that we have added another professional beacon to our executive team. Tommy Sørensen, former Intersport Director, has assumed the position of CFO as of September 1, 2022.

A Natural Step in Our Development

In recent years, Autosource Group has focused on development. We have transitioned from being a traditional car dealership to a rapidly growing and diversified SaaS and tech company, delivering innovative software solutions to the automotive industry. This rapid development naturally calls for even more talented professionals who can ensure that the group maintains the right course even as growth accelerates.

“Tommy Sørensen’s appointment as CFO is a strategic decision aimed at ensuring that we maintain the correct course. He will work closely with the rest of the executive team and the board to shed new light on a number of processes,” says VP Jonas Pasgaard Krogh.

Solid Experience from Multiple Top Positions

Tommy Sørensen brings a strong professional portfolio, having most recently served as Managing Director of the Danish division of the international Intersport brand. Tommy has a background in auditing and has worked for nine years at both Ernst & Young and KPMG.

Additionally, Tommy has a foundation in the automotive industry, having previously been part of P. Christensen, where he contributed to the growth and development of the business as CFO.

Autosource Group is therefore confident that Tommy is the right candidate for the position and that he possesses a wealth of skills and solid experience that will benefit the group on several different levels.

We Develop and Invest in Both Software Solutions and People

One of the key individuals enabling ASG to drive its growth journey is Jonas Pasgaard Krogh, who has been part of Autosource Group since January 2021. His foremost task was, and continues to be, to lead the entire group and act as the helmsman for strategic and commercial development across the board. Therefore, Jonas is deeply involved in all companies in close collaboration with Kent Bernsdorf, the CEO and Founder.

Kent started the journey back in 2009 in a dark painting room in Odense. This was the kickoff for Flexlease.nu, which provides professional car consulting, but today is also, in many ways, a catalyst for the fully automated software solutions that the entire automotive industry now benefits from. Kent saw a need to digitize the many manual and time-consuming workflows he experienced daily as a car consultant. Therefore, Autosource Group has, in recent years, built up strong expertise in the market for software solutions that digitize the automotive industry and optimize sales processes. However, this development and progress would never have been possible if the leadership had not invested in people and competencies.

“We have built up strong expertise in this area, and we continue to constantly work on further developing and positioning ourselves. We know from experience that software solutions create growth in the automotive industry, and we want to ensure that this growth potential continues to exist and grow to the benefit of our colleagues throughout the industry. But we can only do this if the right team is in place throughout the company,” says Jonas Krogh.

This is how many of our software solutions have become a reality,” says Jonas Krogh, who was also involved in the acquisition of 1001 BILER, which has digitized the import process for private consumers.
