Danish Autosource Group Becomes a Shareholder in German Startup “Cardentity”
Autosource Group (ASG), based in Odense, has just announced its entry as a shareholder in the German startup, Cardentity. “An investment that perfectly aligns with our vision of creating a more sustainable automotive industry through the use of data-driven insights and AI,” says Kent Bernsdorf, CEO and founder of ASG.
Cardentity specializes in handling used car history throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle, including data management of damage patterns. This ensures fewer unwanted surprises for end users and more accurate vehicle valuations, which is expected to revolutionize the used car market.
“We look forward to bringing this innovative solution to the Danish market and expect both dealers and end users to benefit from improved transparency and security,” adds Jens Sørensen, Chairman of the Board at ASG.
The collaboration between ASG and Cardentity was facilitated by Sven Krüger, ASG’s German board member and major shareholder in Cardentity.
Cardentity’s solutions will be rolled out in Denmark and Scandinavia with ASG as the primary player. Jonas Pasgaard Krogh, ASG’s VP, will lead the operational collaboration with a focus on further developing solution modules and international expansion. The collaboration is already underway and shows great promise for the future, with ASG expecting a positive reception in the Nordic markets.
